As 2018 rolls in, I realize that this will be my 9th season at my sweet little piece of paradise known as Pheasant Acres RV Park. I couldn't be happier. My list of regular campers has grown ten-fold in these years. Repeat campers during a season makes for lot of community spirit and good friendships.

Pheasant Acres RV Park is shady and quiet, friendly and welcoming, and Mother Nature loving which makes our campground the ideal base for exploration of the exciting natural treasures to be found in the beautiful Ozark Foothills of Missouri. And of course all our campers enjoy year round trout fishing at nearby Maramec Spring Park.

Whether you want to rough it in our primitive tent area, set your pop-up on an electric/water site or have all the comforts of a full RV hook-up site, we offer a get-away that is just what you have been looking for in a peaceful park-like setting. And bonus...Free Air, Free Shade, Free Star Gazing, Free Hiking, Free Friendship, Free Relaxing and Free Tickle Your Toes Grass.

Our location is remote enough to be a welcome break from urban life, but close enough to enjoy any weekend. This makes our pristine property a family tradition for the past 40 years. You are welcome to come and relax under a beautiful starry Ozark sky, sit around the crackling campfire, and spin stories of the trout that got away.

WHAT We Offer . Year Round Camping...
Located just off 1-44 at Exit 195 half way between Saint Louis and Springfield/Branson and an hour from Jefferson City, Pheasant Acres RV Park is easily accessible from all directions.
• 5 SEASONAL Full Hookup Sites. 50130/20 Amp Sites #1 - 5 • 6 SEASONAL Full Hookup Sites. 30120 Amp Sites 6 - #11 • 10 YEAR ROUND Full Hookup Sites. 30/20 Amp Sites #12 -21 • 3 SEASONAL EleciWater/Dump Sites. 30/20 Amp Sites #22 - 24 • 2 Primitive tent 20 Amp Elec Sites A - B • All sites have patio. picnic table. fire pit

SEASONAL means during the off-season from 2nd weekend of November to April 15' those sites are electric and sewer ONLY
*HOWEVER - dependent upon the weather - the water may be turned on as early as the end of March.
YEAR ROUND means the sites are full hookup all year long. Winter campers will need to know how to camp in below freezing weather, using heated hose (not heat tape allowed) on frost free hydrants, how to keep underbelly tanks from freezing. procuring their own propane.
TENTERS...HUNTERS during winter bow season...will have access to water and electric in off-season and use of our 'comfort station', you know the one with the moon on the door.
• We are just a quick 2.2 mile drive to Maramec Spring Park and excellent year round trout fishing • A short 5.5 mile drive from the quaint Route 66 town of Saint James on 1-44 at Exit 195 • AND...the historic Trail of Tears crossed our property back in 1838...a lot of history to discover here.
WiFi..The down and dirty of Wi-Fi connection when you are not near a city climate. It kinda sucks, un-huh. We do have it, but connection is often limited or non-existent. As an RVer myself, I always had my own personal Wi-Fi hot spot, and traveled with my own Satellite system. If you are in need of GOOD CONNECTIONS, I might suggest the same for you.

Saint James is a quaint little gem in the foothills of the Ozarks. Within 15 to 20 miles there are many fun and exciting things to visit, see and do. ANTIQUING and SHOPPING
